L’ARTE DEL PASSATO NEL PRESENTE DI ANTONIO FEOLA
Il linguaggio dai toni drammatici ed un modo personale di esprimerli attraverso segni e colore ,caratterizza le opere di Antonio Feola , giovane artista legato alla pittura del passato . Nell’elaborazione pittorica l’intensa rappresentazione psicologica si veste di particolari contenuti .Infatti un realismo intenso ed un’impostazione tecnica equilibrata conferiscono alle immagini oltre che una vigoria delle forme , una straordinaria atmosfera dell’esistenza umana in un contesto narrativo di grande vitalità anche manuale delle figure dotate di una intensa forza espressiva e compiutezza formale . Si compie uno straordinario viaggio attraverso l’arte del passato e l’ “ amoroso “ legame dell’artista con Tiziano come testimoniano dipinti sul martirio di San Lorenzo e San Sebastiano, la testa di Battista o lo studio significativo dei volti che mostrano un accurato e minuzioso studio dei particolari . Antonio Feola alterna alle opere sacre , alla pittura figurativa, disegni e studi che coinvolgono l’osservatore in una forte tensione emotiva soprattutto oggi , nella nostra epoca moderna , che specialmente nell’arte , spesso vive di “avventura” . Perciò è di grande interesse una mostra di Antonio Feola ,artista contemporaneo attratto da temi come “San Giorgio e il drago ,demoni e dannati, medusa e tante altre tematiche alla maniera antica delle vecchie botteghe. Le opere rievocano il potere immaginativo e l’esperienza dei grandi del passato ma evidenziano oltre ai riferimenti culturali ,religiosi , mitologici ,soprattutto la notevole capacità disegnativa , una matura ricerca e un’analisi introspettiva che diventa intimo colloquio tra passato e presente .

THE ART OF THE PAST IN THE PRESENT OF ANTONIO FEOLA
The language of dramatic tones and a personal way of expressing them through signs and color characterizes the works of Antonio Feola, a young artist linked to the painting of the past. In the pictorial elaboration the intense psychological representation takes the form of particular contents. In fact, an intense realism and a balanced technical approach give to the images as well as a vigor of the forms, an extraordinary atmosphere of the human existence in a narrative context of great vitality, also manual of the figures endowed with an intense expressive force and formal completeness. An extraordinary journey is made through the art of the past and the “loving” bond of the artist with Tiziano as evidenced in the paintings on the martyrdom of San Lorenzo and San Sebastiano, the head of Battista or the significant study of the faces that show an accurate and meticolous study of the details. Antonio Feola alternates to the sacred works, to the figurative painting, drawings and studies that involve the observer in a strong emotional tension, especially today, in our modern era, which especially in the art, often lives of “adventure”. Therefore it is of great interest an exhibition by Antonio Feola, a contemporary artist attracted of themes like “St. George and the Dragon, demons and the damned, Medusa and many other themes in the ancient way of the old shops”. The works evoke the imaginative power and experience of the greats of the past but highlight not only the cultural, religious, mythological references, above all the remarkable drawing capacity, a mature research and an introspective analysis that becomes an intimate dialogue between past and present.
