Border line. Le distorsioni del contemporaneo
Rikke Line Andreasen è l’artista che osa gettare lo spettatore in pasto alla cruda realtà nella quale noi contemporanei siamo immersi. Un mondo sempre più smart, easy; sempre più fluttuante e interconnesso dove tutti risultano infine sempre più soli. Rikke gioca con i forti contrasti che questo mondo ci offre, molti dei quali sono causati dalla stessa mano umana, strisciante, ambiziosa, avida di potere e mai paga. Le sue immagini offrono intensi spunti di riflessione per comprendere ciò che sembra già evidente, ovvero la profonda incapacità di comunicazione e l’incoerenza a cui la nostra società sembra essere approdata. Attraverso l’utilizzo di colori accesi, ai limiti di un mondo pop fatto di plastica industriale, Rikke mette in scena il teatro del quotidiano fatto di contrasti e incongruenze. Barbie stereotipate che imbracciano un fucile, vegetazioni spoglie, foreste inquinate da rifiuti tossici. Il nostro universo procede verso le derive e le sue immagini ne sono una forte denuncia, in apparenza celata dietro l’uso di modelli vuoti, pubblicitari, ma che rivelano una profonda preoccupazione per il nostro procedere. Sono temi cari all’artista che da sempre vive spostandosi tra le grandi realtà urbane, le megalopoli del contemporaneo, dove gli spunti a cui attingere per la rappresentazione della varietà umana sono infiniti. Le luci, il traffico, la gente sempre affannata, e poi i semafori, pedoni e automobilisti, rumore, luci, ombre, buio di metropoli che non riposano mai e inghiottono tutto quanto si frappone nella folle corsa urbana. La quotidianità messa a nudo, dove i corpi vengono usati come carne da riciclo e gli incontri sono scambi disamorati. La natura umiliata, e, dall’altra parte, i non sensi di città che segnano il passo tra tradizione e voglia di rinnovamento, dove tuttavia manca ancora una certa libertà espressiva della persona. Un universo di manichini che l’artista fa sfilare sul palcoscenico del mondo feroce, all’interno dell’arena del quotidiano dove tutto è lotta, affermazione e dove se ti fermi non sei più nessuno. Un mondo border line. Il nostro mondo, del quale siamo i diretti responsabili del tipo di futuro che lasceremo a chi verrà dopo di noi. La sfida è aperta e Rikke fa uso potente dell’unica arma che non lascia scampo. Il potere dell’immaginazione e l’impatto visivo con la cruda realtà delle cose, così come esse appaiono. Senza patine, senza lucide immagini satinate. L’uomo e il suo essere solo in un mondo sempre più affollato.

Rikke Line Andreasen is the artist who dares to throw the spectator in meal at the harsh reality in which we contemporaries are immersed. An increasingly smart, easy world; increasingly fluctuating and interconnected where everyone is finally more and more alone. Rikke plays with the strong contrasts that this world offers to us, many of which are caused by the same human hand, crawling, ambitious, eager for power and never pay. Her images offer intense cues of reflection in order to comprise this that seems already evident, namely the profound inability to communicate and the incoherence to which our society seems to be landed. Through the use of bright colors, to the limits of a pop world made of industrial plastic, Rikke stages the theater of everyday life made of contrasts and inconsistencies. Barbie stereotyped that holding a rifle, bare vegetation, polluted forests from toxic waste. Our universe proceeds towards the drifts and her images are a strong denunciation, apparently concealed behind the use of empty models, advertising, but which reveal a deep worry for our to proceed. They are dear topics to the artist who always lives moving between the great urban realities, the megalopolis of the contemporary, where the cues to which reaching for the representation of the human variety are infinite. The lights, the traffic, the people always hurried, and then the traffic lights, pedestrians and motorists, noise, lights, shadows, the darkness of metropolises that never rest and swallow everything that stands in the crazy urban rush. The daily life laid bare, where the bodies are used as recycled meat and the meetings are indifferent exchanges, without love . The humiliated nature, and, on the other part, the non-senses of cities that mark the step between tradition and desire for renewal, where, however, lack still a certain expressive freedom of the person. A universe of mannequins that the artist does paraded on the stage of the ferocious world, inside the arena of everyday life where everything is struggle, affirmation and where if you stop you are no longer nobody . A world: border line. Our world, of which we are directly responsible for the kind of future that we will leave to those who will come after of us. The challenge is opened and Rikke makes powerful use of the only weapon that leaves no escape. The power of the imagination and the visual impact with the raw reality of the things, so as they appear. Without patinas, without shining glazed images. The man and his being alone in an increasingly crowded world.
