ARTIST’S  STATEMENT

 My main interest is man: his relationship to his fellow-men, to his own self, to God, the universe, the numen, to life and death. I want to show his manifold facets, his fears and wishes, his sorrows , his joy of life and his reflectiveness.

 My paintings show that reality is infinite. It consists of everything revealed to us by our senses, lived and experienced and as well includes everything felt and imagined, dreamed and thought of. But it is not limited to all this. In the realms of mind, spirit and soul there are no boundaries.

To show this I make use of an archive of literary relations, dream projections and memories and also employ abstract, symbolic and surreal elements to convey a special message.

Il mio interesse principale è l’uomo: la sua relazione con i suoi simili, con se stesso, con Dio, con l’universo, con lo spirito che pervade ogni cosa, con la vita e con la morte. Voglio mostrare le sue molteplici sfaccettature, le sue paure e desideri, i suoi dolori, la sua gioia di vivere e la sua capacità di riflessione.

 I miei quadri mostrano che la realtà è infinita. Consiste in tutto ciò che ci viene rivelato dai nostri sensi, tutto ciò che abbiamo vissuto e provato e comprende anche ciò che abbiamo sentito e immaginato, sognato e pensato. Ma la realtà non è limitata a tutto questo. Nei regni della mente, dello spirito e dell’anima non ci sono confini. Per dimostrarlo, utilizzo un archivio di relazioni letterarie, proiezioni di sogni e ricordi e uso anche elementi astratti, simbolici e surreali per trasmettere un messaggio speciale.
